Hey, friends! Doing something a little different this week for your Moodboard Monday post! I have only ever shared room & furniture inspiration this far.. but today I'm sharing a kitchen moodboard! Some may think that wood cabinets are out of style and that homeowners only ever want white, grey, black, etc., but wood cabinets are definitely making a comeback. If you were dreaming of white cabinets but love the maple as much as I do and need to incorporate them into your kitchen remodel... you could do the permitter of the kitchen in white cabinets and the island in the maple. If you're putting in a range hood or open shelving, match these to the maple island. I am practically drooling over this kitchen. There is something about these maple cabinets that are so luxurious. Your friends and family would definitely envy your kitchen if you followed this inspiration board! Heck, I would be envious of you, too!

I LOVE the mixture of white and gold together. For a while there gold went out of style... but I think it was more the tone of gold, than gold itself, and it was hideous. The new gold is so much prettier and is timeless! The faucet, cabinet hardware, backsplash, flooring and paint can all be purchased at Home Depot. The Siena Mocha Glaze Maple Cabinets are Kitchen Craft and the counters are Quartz - Eternal Calacatta Gold from Luxury Granite.

When a space is light, bright and airy, it will make the whole room feel bigger! I'm a big advocate of light, neutral colours. The paint pictured is called "Polar Bear" by Behr Paints and we used it in the nursery in our own home. It looks a bit creamy in pictures, but it's actually a beautiful silky white. It's become my go-to neutral paint colour!

Would you believe that the dining table I sourced is from IKEA and under $400? Well... it is! We have the rectangle version of this table and it is durable and cleans SO easily! It's also extendable which is great for hosting. Depending on the layout of your kitchen a rectangle table may be fit better than the round table pictured. Also, it's not as stark white as it looks in the picture - it's definitely an off white colour that would pair very well with the dining chairs pictured!

The barstools (set of 2 for $260!), dining chair, dining light (under $550!) and the pendant light are all sourced from.. can you guess it? Wayfair! Wayfair will forever be my online source of inspiration for home furniture - their catalogue is HUGE and has every style you could imagine.

If you're thinking of doing a kitchen renovation, but are not sure where to start.. contact me here, and I'll share how we can work together!

XX, Samantha
